We will be exploring Cusco, the “Navel of the World,” visit a community in the Sacred Valley, then spend four incredible days and three nights in the Andes mountains. The Inca Trail takes you through various archeological sights and gifts you scenic views of the Andes mountains. We will also be learning about the Quechua weaving practice with indigenous women in a little town outside of Cusco. This trip will take you beyond the challenge of trekking to Machu Picchu, giving you a new perspective on the intelligence of ancient civilizations, and the beauty of Peruvian culture.
